I’m a writer whose nonfiction work has appeared in The New York Times, HuffPost Personal, The Sun, and a wide range of literary magazines, including River Teeth’s Beautiful Things, Hippocampus Magazine, Sweet Lit, The Maine Review, and many more.
My writing explores themes of family, love, and loss. I am working on a memoir about my experience growing up the child of divorce at a time when I was also reckoning with my identity.
In addition to creative nonfiction, I write short-form humor, which has appeared in Points in Case, Little Old Lady Comedy, Frazzled, and beyond.
I serve on the Board of Directors of Short Reads, an online literary magazine of flash nonfiction. For much of my career following the practice of law, I have worked in fundraising roles at LGBTQ-focused nonprofits located in New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco.
I live in the Bay Area with my husband, daughter, son, and sometimes-warring cat and dogs.
